60th Anniversary and Super Reunion
Augusta Christian Schools is turning 60 this year and we're going to celebrate in a big way! The date is May 12 and we will have a "drop in" type celebration from 5-7 pm in the school gym. Or feel free to stay the entire time. It will be lots of fun seeing former classmates and teachers. Please join us!
We tried to mail an invitation to all alumni and former teachers and staff, but it's hard to keep our list current. Please consider this your invitation if you did not receive one. We certainly did not mean to leave anyone out.
Please let us know if you're attending by responding at this link:RSVP Link
Alumni travel and move around the world: to Manhattan to help start a church, to Cambodia to work for the International Justice Mission, and to the White House to work on economic matters. They work for Disney and design websites in Augusta, teach in Peru, and work for the Smithsonian in Washington, DC.
They also return to Augusta to build the city where they grew up by teaching at Augusta Christian and in public schools, starting their own businesses, working in the film industry, practicing law and medicine, and working for community nonprofits.
As one staff member said, "We love that our graduates think highly enough of ACS to want to come back and teach here." ACS alumni are making a difference all over the world. That's what "Building Kingdom Leaders" is all about.
3 John 4 in the Message states, "Nothing could make me happier than getting reports that my children continue diligently in the way of Truth!" May it ever be so!
Staying in Touch
We desire to stay in touch with our Alumni, and we hope that the school will continue to be a part of your lives even after graduation. Help us keep up with you by filling out the Alumni Information Update on the link below. Tell us about your accomplishments...send us pictures and we'll post them here. Thanks and God bless you!
Class of 1997 Reunion
The Class of 1997 held their Reunion in August at The Barn at Sanderlin's. It was great to see everyone!
