Home Studies Program
Students participating in Augusta Christians Home Studies Program complete their coursework off campus, meeting with a highly skilled, Christian teacher for 12-15 hours per week. Students utilize the Lifepac curriculum which covers the same content that is utilized within Augusta Christian classrooms.
With prior permission from the Head of Schools or their division Principal, students may or may not have the opportunity to attend Junior or Senior Class Trips and/or various Missions Trips offered through Augusta Christian. Home Studies students will not be allowed to participate in activities, such as field trips, field day, classroom or lunchroom visits, etc which are a part of the regular school day.
Students graduating from the Home Studies Program may or may not be eligible to participate in Augusta Christian School's Graduation Ceremony, as determined by the Head of Schools or the division Principal. Graduates of the Home Studies Program will receive a diploma. The diploma will either be a College Preparatory diploma or a General diploma, depending upon their course of study.
The Home Studies Program enables students to pursue high standards spiritually, academically, socially and physically, while partnering with family and church. Once admitted, students are expected to adhere to Augusta Christian School's policies and procedures.
