Since 1958, Augusta Christian Schools has partnered with families and churches to provide a Christ-centered education that nurtures students spiritually, academically, socially, and physically. These three commitments—Honoring Christ, Pursuing Excellence, and Building Kingdom Leaders—guide our classrooms, shape our programs, and inspire our school community.
Located in Martinez, Georgia, a suburb of Augusta, ACS is an independent, non-denominational Christian school serving approximately 650 students from families representing more than 100 area churches. We offer Pre-K3 through grade 12, along with a Learning Support program for students with special learning needs.
Throughout every stage of a student’s education, we combine strong academics with a biblical worldview, helping students develop their God-given gifts and prepare for lives of faith, purpose, and service.

Opportunities to Learn, Create, and Grow
Our 26-acre campus includes academic, fine arts, and athletic facilities that support a wide range of learning opportunities. Specialized offerings include STEM, Christian JROTC, and a three-year Medical Health Science program culminating in Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) completion.
Our fine arts program encourages students to develop their creativity through three levels of band, two levels of choral groups, visual arts, drama, and private piano and guitar lessons.
Students in grades 6–12 have opportunities to participate in interscholastic athletics, including football, softball, cross country, basketball, cheerleading, baseball, track and field, tennis, soccer, swimming, volleyball, wrestling, scholastic shooting, flag football, and golf. Both fine arts and athletics are taught from a Christian worldview, emphasizing character, discipline, teamwork, and the use of God-given abilities.
Accreditation and Leadership
Augusta Christian Schools is accredited by Cognia and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). We are also a member of the South Carolina Independent School Association (SCISA) for athletics and other interscholastic activities.
As an educational nonprofit organization, ACS operates under the direction of a Board of Trustees. The Board establishes policy, upholds the school’s vision and educational philosophy, and ensures financial stability. Its work supports the partnership among home, church, and school that is central to each child’s growth and development.
