Middle School (Grades 6–8)
The middle school program at Augusta Christian Schools serves students in 6th through 8th grades and is designed to build a strong academic foundation while encouraging spiritual growth, personal responsibility, and a pursuit of excellence.
Students engage in a core curriculum that includes Bible, history, science, math, and English, with two levels of instruction offered to appropriately challenge and support learners. Each course is taught through a biblical worldview, helping students grow in their understanding of God’s truth while developing critical thinking skills.

Beginning in 8th grade, qualified students have the opportunity to enter our honors track. These students may take more rigorous courses such as Physical Science, Algebra I Honors, and English I Honors—courses typically reserved for high school freshmen. Placement is based on teacher recommendation and academic readiness, allowing students to be both challenged and supported.
This early access to honors-level coursework prepares students for continued success in high school, opening the door for additional honors and Advanced Placement opportunities. While students may advance academically, all graduation requirements remain consistent, including the completion of three science credits in grades 9–12.
In addition to academics, middle school students are encouraged to explore their interests through a variety of co-curricular offerings, including chorus, band, art, Spanish, weightlifting, and keyboarding.
Athletics also play an important role in the middle school experience. Students may participate in softball, cross country, cheerleading, football, basketball, baseball, track, golf, soccer, swimming, wrestling, and tennis. Through competition, students learn discipline, teamwork, and perseverance while striving to honor Christ and grow as Kingdom leaders.
Community Service
Students in grades 7 and 8 are required to complete Community Service Hours as follows:
8th Graders – 8 hours
7th Graders – 6 hours
6th Graders are not required to complete Community Service Hours.
