Middle School

The Augusta Christian School middle school program, consisting of 6th, 7th and 8th grades, is committed to excellence. Two classes of Bible, history, science, math, and English are offered.

Typically our honors program begins in the 8th grade. At this level, qualified students may opt to take more rigorous courses. Eighth grade students take physical science, Algebra I honors and English I honors which are usually not offered until the freshman year in most schools. These are honors level courses and are offered by recommendation from the teachers. This will enable advanced students a chance to take more honors and Advanced Placement classes in high school. The graduation requirements, however, will remain the same: you must have three science credits in grades 9-12 in order to graduate from Augusta Christian School.

Middle school students may elect to participate in co-curricular classes in chorus, band, art, Spanish, French, weightlifting, and keyboarding. Students may participate on the middle school level in the following sports: softball, cross country, cheerleading, football, basketball, baseball, track, golf, soccer, swimming, wrestling and tennis.
