What do the students experience?

Classes consist of individual and group instruction in art/music performance and theory, art exhibits, music rehearsals and performances, evaluation festivals, and special field trip projects as scheduled throughout the year.

Note: a student may begin instrumental instruction at any grade level. Middle and High School students beginning study on a Band instrument may be given an opportunity to work with additional ensembles in order to advance more rapidly until they reach the proficiency level of their peers.

What are the requirements?

Homeschool students are generally expected to meet the same requirements as Augusta Christian’s full-time students. This includes punctual attendance at rehearsals and performances, musical practice (outside of class), and personal deportment. Some instruments are provided by the school within the limits of its inventory. Other instruments are to be provided by the students through either rental or purchase (the school can facilitate either through local instrument merchants).
