It is with great excitement, the Augusta Christian Board of Trustees would like to introduce Dr. Brian Simmons as our Interim Head of Schools for the 2025-2026 school year! A visionary leader who has built his entire career focused on Christian education, Dr. Simmons is passionate about Building Kingdom Leaders; and he believes that providing the tools and support that faculty and administrators need to foster student success through a Biblical worldview is essential.
Dr. Simmons comes to us from King’s Ridge Christian School where he is completing his year of service as Interim Head of Schools. Prior to King’s Ridge, Dr. Simmons served as vice president of CIU Global at Columbia International University (CIU), where he founded the PhD program in Organizational Leadership and taught doctoral students for 10 years. Prior to CIU, he served as president of the Association of Christian Schools International, the largest Christian school association in the world. Along with CIU, Dr. Simmons has served as a professor at Grand Rapids Theological Seminary, professor and vice president at Indiana Wesleyan University, as well as superintendent at both Elkhart Christian Academy and Heritage Christian School.
Through much prayer, we believe Dr. Simmons to be the person the Lord has called to be the next leader at Augusta Christian Schools to prepare our students, faculty, and our AC community to be Kingdom Leaders. Please join us in welcoming, Dr. Brian Simmons to the Augusta Christian School family! Go Lions!
Fortis Esse,
